Creating A Draft

When creating a league, the league owner can configure various settings that will govern the operation of the league.

  • Roster Size: Set the minimum and maximum number of players that each team can have.

  • League Size: Set the number of teams in the league. 4-32 teams.

Full Draft Settings

  • Draft Types: The app supports both Snake Draft and Auction Draft.

  • Snake Draft: Users take turns selecting players in a "round-robin" format. The order reverses each round.

  • Linear Draft: The draft order repeats every round

  • Scheduling: The league owner sets the date and time for the draft.

  • Player Selection: During the draft, users select players to fill their team roster based on the league's position requirements and their strategy.

  • Position Requirements: Define the number of players required at each position in a team (e.g., Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, etc.)

  • Timed Draft Picks: Decide whether to include timed draft picks and set the time limit for each pick. 2 Miniuse is standard / Other options - 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 1.5 minutes, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, No time

Standard rosters include one Quarterback (QB), two Running Backs (RB), two Wide Receivers (WR), one Tight End (TE), one Flex (RB/WR/TE), one Defense/Special Teams (D/ST), one Kicker (K) and seven Bench Spots (BE -- players on your roster who are not in your active lineup for a given week)

  • Scoring Rules: Customize how players score points based on their real-life performance (e.g., points per yard gained, points per touchdown, etc.)

  • Trade Rules: Set rules around trading, such as the number of trades allowed per week, veto procedures, and the trade deadline.

  • Waiver Rules: Configure the waiver period duration and the system for claiming players from waivers (e.g., waiver order or FAAB).

  • Number of divisions: The league can be split into two or more divisions, depending on league size and manager preference.

  • Playoff Structure: Define the number of teams that make the playoffs and the playoff schedule.

  • Injury Reserve Slots: Decide whether to allow IR slots and how many.

  • Add/Drop Limits: Set a limit for the number of player additions/drops allowed per week.

  • Draft Type: Choose between Snake Draft and Linear Draft.

  • Draft Order: Set the draft order or randomize draft order
